Our Mission

Shalom promotes fellowship, extends spiritual and material help to the needy, protects and propagates Christian gospel in Trivandrum, throughout Kerala as well as other cities and villages in India. Our mission is to reach the unreached in India with the help of believers from India and world over. We prefer to send young people as missionaries to new mission fields and we train spiritual leaders. We offer fellowship to all ages, especially young people. We welcome all to our fellowship for joyful praise and worship service. We believe in full Gospel, Pentecostal and evangelical values.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be an Evangelistic outreach centre  reaching out to people with the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ .We also desire to plant Bible teaching churches in and outside our city with emphasis on systematic teaching of God's Word as we believe that people grow more effectively by the teaching of the Word of God.

Our Vision is also to help people to understand the importance of God's Word in their life so that they may grow in the knowledge of God's Word.

To help people discover the plan and purpose of God for the expansion of His Kingdom and the furtherance of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To conduct prayer cells and thereby introduce Christ to our neighbourhood and to strengthen the fellowship among believers.

Our Doctrine

• We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. In one God; eternally existing in three persons; The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• That Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. 
• That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor. 
• That all have sinned and that repentance is commanded by GOD to all  for the forgiveness of sins. 
• That justification, regeneration and new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ through the word and by the Holy Spirit. 
• Holiness to be God's standard of living for His People,  in the baptism of Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  
• In water baptism by immersion and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the  Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 
• Divine Healing is provided for all in the atonement. 
• We believe in the Lord's Supper. The premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints with Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand Years. 
• In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

Pastor P.K. Mathew a profile

Pastor P.K.Mathew has been in Lord's ministry in Kerala since 1975. He has been a pioneer in carrying the gospel and planting churches in several places in Kerala. By his efforts several churches were planted in and around kerala and in Trivandrum city. Pastor Mathew is a man of God who is devoted to evangelism and Lord's ministry with remarkable humility. He is an excellent leader, counselor and a powerful speaker and teacher of Bible doctrines.

Pastor P.K.Mathew was born and brought up in Punalur (Central Kerala) and graduated from Assemblies of God Bible College, Punalur in 1975.He had his further studies in Southern Asia Bible College Bangalore. He had ministered in several churches in Kerala for more than thirty years.  Pastor P.K Mathew is leading Shalom AG Church with a special vision to proclaim the salvation and deliverance of Jesus to the people of India. He works consistently for the extension of Gods kingdom in and around Kerala. Having a strong mission and vision to spread the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in and around Kerala.He strongly believes in teaching the Word of God constantly for the spiritual growth of the believers in the Lord. So many souls have already been saved to the kingdom of God by His preaching.

Shalom Agape Gospel Church is one of the fast growing churches in Trivandrum .We meet hundreds of people with the divine gospel ,preach deliverance and compassion of Christ.

Pastor P.K.Mathew is supported in his ministry by his wife Susamma and his two sons Kenson Mathew and Samson Mathew.

Shalom Sunday morning Worship

Shalom Agape Gospel Church was established in the year 2006. As yet we do not have a church building. Our Sunday morning worship is held in a rented hall at Vakkom Moulavi Foundation Hall, Thekkummoodu, Opposite of Anadiyil Hospital,  Trivandrum.
